While no one actually wants to go to the ER, if you have to, the people here are nice, efficient, and provide a great level of care!
Been to the ED for a few issues and I've been treated great. Really great Doctors in the ED and nurses are very caring. If you get admitted the nurses and doctors on the floor are very caring and understanding. Definitely my first choice for and medical care.

Best hospital I have ever experienced, from the emergency room staff, ICU, the doctors, the nurses, to the cafe staff, and the dear people who work constantly to keep the hospital clean. My husband spent 27 days in LSMC during the last month. The attention and care he got was amazing! I stayed most nights with him, and I was given every comfort possible, including being covered with a warm blanket while I slept, because I looked cold. Everyone was super awesome! Very caring! Everyone was very knowledgeable. I was in and out in no time. Didn't hurt at all (biopsy done). These people know there stuff!! Thank you, Lees Summit Medical Center!!
Great hospital. I went there and they made me feel so comfortable. Explained everything before running test. Dr. Jensen, was super friendly, great ER Doctor.
I had an out patient surgery and everyone was absolutely wonderful. The nurses were funny and easy to talk to. The anastasia team all came in to meet with me and go over problems I had at another hospital. I even received a follow up call the next day to make sure I was doing ok.
