I went in last summer while having a miscarriage, (first pregnancy, didn't know what was going on and was scared) and the staff was just plain RUDE. They acted as if me coming in was a burden on them. Then after leaving it took me a while to get a bill, I finally got it and it showed I didn't have insurance, which I gave them at the time I checked into the ER. I had called and gave them my insurance information again and a few weeks later got another bill not showing my insurance. It took several months for my insurance to g... read more

Thank you all so much. We have been there for my girls when we are in need of an E.R. Your staff is absolutely amazing!Your staff is kind, quick, helpful answer all my questions and concerns. The nurses always are so sweet to my kids the time before last that we were in my kids had the flu and horribly high temps and your nurses brought them cookies and juice with their Tylenol and Medications so they were not so bad and got them started on their antibiotics right then and there. The worst hospital in the world. All about the money and not the patient.everytime my wife gets put in there she has to go home and have to go right back. So you have to pay emergency room visit again. Health care don't matter insurance or not they don't care it's all about the money

I recently had need of emergency services here this week. They saved my life! All the doctor's and nurses were outstanding during their heroic actions that saved my life and the care after. I would highly recommend Lee's Summit Medical Center. Thanks for your skills and compassion!!
