Our company carried out some sub-contracting work for Lee Charles. He was invoiced in March 2021 for the work. He has failed to pay the outstanding debt owed. He won't answer the phone or respond to emails. Legal proceedings are now underway and we look forward to seeing him in court.
Don't bother, six months to do a back patio, no show to do the front drive, absolutely no communication from Lee and has £1250 of our money. So disappointed especially after being recommended, will definitely not be recommending to anyone else.
I have nothing to say other than do not trust this man, he's a liar and a thief. He has walked away from a build that he has spent more than a year on and been paid in the region of £99k for. There is nothing I can do about it other than spend another £10k in taking him to court in the hope that he has assets against his business which has now been served notice to be struck off due to non return of yearly accounts. I'm sure he'll pop up again in a years time under a different company name but I will be watching!
Absolute scam!!! Owe my partner money for work carried out. Also owe many other people money. Avoid at all costs!!!!
Terrible experience, would not recommend to anyone. Hired this company for an extension and garden work. Max timescale 21 weeks, after 6 months only 50-60% complete. Lots of re-work required. Very unprofessional, big mistake hiring him.
