Great easy eats for any night of the week – Been coming here for 2 or 3 years - really since it opened, I suppose and it never fails to disappoint. The imperial rolls are just what is needed after a hard day - true comfort food - the dipping sauce with the lettuce and mint cut the crispy wrapper perfectly! Pho number 1 with extra beef and a splash of chili sauce could revive even the weariest of westside workoholics - and frequently does!

Added to my "regular" rotation – Great food and service. I never feel as if I need anything as a waiter is always close by to make sure that we're taken care of. The food is very tasty, especially for the price. Highly recommended.

User review by freedomroll – it pains me to read bad reviews of this glorious gem of an eatery! i used to live up the street and i swear i lived on the #7 with pork (extra fish sauce, extra imperial roll). my roommate always got the pho with the cooked and raw beef combo. she is a pho connisseur and swears it is the best (and least greasy) in all the land. the spring rolls with the little meatballs in them are insanely refreshing and delicious. and YES! they are a vietnamese family-run business. the Le (get it? "Le" Saigon?)... read more

Rice Dishes Look Good – I ordered the PHO TAI. BIG mistake. The soup was warm and not hot. Therefore, the meat did not cook at all. It was just weird eating warm PHO. We asked for additional soup, but it still was just warm. Also, its a bit overpriced at over $7 a small bowl of pho. However, I did look over at people sittin next to us and their rice dishes looked pretty good. Rice with pork.

Yummy Pho – I went on a late saturday afternoon and the place was pretty empty and I found metered parking right in front. Since it was slow the service was excellent, fast and delicious. I would definately recommend this place. I went because I have a cold and pho always makes me feel better... they gave a lot of meatballs and it was great!

This is not real Vietnamese food – The waiters gave off the attitude of not wanting to be there, which made ME not want to be there. Oh, and the food tasted like really bland Americanized Vietnamese food... think water.

Sheer bliss – I'm blown away by the negative reviews of Le Saigon. It's the only restaurant in all of LA where I can honestly say every bite is absolute bliss. My wife and I get the #7 with beef, which is vermicelli, perfectly fried imperial rolls, amazing barbecued beef, and all the lettuce, peanuts, etc. that round out a bun dish. Once you mix in the sauce, the sriracha, and the hoisin, it's heaven in a bowl. Authentic shmauthentic, who cares when it's pure delight? Plus, they just made the place bigger (less wait) and mad... read more

bad pho – I asked the owners son (so he claims) here whether this was really a Vietnamese owned restaurant. His reply was "yes" which I strongly do not believe in as the pho offered at this place lacked the beef flavor of traditional pho and was very bland in comparison to pho houses owned by TRUE Vietnamese people. Unfortunately the only reason why this place is packed is due to the fact that the westside lacks decent Vietnamese cuisine. Overall, I would rather drive to the Valley for better food regardless of the fact that... read more

Go somewhere else – Le Saigon is only popular because there aren't any decent Vietnamese restaurants on the Westside. Its food is bland and the dining room is small, so you'll have to wait to eat it. While the service is friendly and efficient, you'd do better to get in the car and make the drive to San Gabriel or Westminster for some real Vietnamese food. Or else cross the street and go to Benita's instead.
