I am a huge fan of Pho.. even before it got popular.. back when you had to dive down the China Town and go to one of the Pho plus number places.. Pho 67, 87, 29, 99.. you get the idea.. Then this great place opened up in West LA. Little different then Traditional Pho places but the soup is really good.. I know that there is lot of love that goes into making the pho and i hate it when you get to some places late and they just add water... not here...in fact, my mom is really picky and she never liked the smell of pho, but thi... read more

Fun to roll your own food – I love rolling my own food in the rice paper. Wish there was another place in LA I could do that. The ambiance is blah and the waiters aren't that friendly, but the food keeps me coming back.

Someday an authentic viet rest will make it here – that owner-waiter(really pale) gave me a really dirty look. took a look at my white boyfriend and looked back me with the ugliest snarl. lol He must feel like asian girls should not be able to date white men. Jerk Food is just ok. bland yet fresh. The servers are great though.

Best pho in town – Been going here for a while - after trying pretty much every other pho place in town. The staff is great too - may be a bit 'rushy', but all those asian places tend to be. Plus the staff always remembers what I order, which is always nice. Kudos!!

Best Pho in LA – Here we go. This is the stuff. This is the joint. This is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. I’ve been here at least 75 times over the past few years. I used to go at least once a week, I was almost in need of a Vietnamese intervention. Now, I could live solely on Asian cuisine. Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese. In that order. Write that down. You’ll be tested. I’ve only been to four Vietnamese restaurants in LA. I’ve not branched out, I admit. I just hate being disappointed. There is no Pho... read more

Worst Vietnamese restaurant – This is a review I posted on Yelp... This was THE WORST vietnamese resteaurant i've EVER been to (and I've been to many). First, the service was horrible (the owner-waiter --who had the worst attitude i.e., he didn't care if you ate there or not -- wouldn't let me turn the table which was configured wrong in the first place). I have no idea why, especially because another waiter came and turned it for me. The food didn't get any better. I ordered the pork chop well done. Of course, it wasn't coo... read more

good food and good people running the place – Looks like its family owned and operated and its a nice family. We eat her about once a week. I wish they delivered though.

great food – I just went on this website to look up the time Le Saigon opens and started reading the reviews and was shocked at the bad reviews. My family has been going to this restaurant for years, and we've recommended it to many other people: everyone has always liked it! The food has always been great -- all these years. The staff is fine, they're nice enough and do their job. And I think it's inexpensive! We've always particularly liked the flavor of the chicken pho -- I think the broth really is quite good, and the di... read more

By far, the worst vietnamese food... – Yes, I have snobby taste buds when it comes to Vietnamese food only because I am of 100% Vietnamese descent and my grandparents owned a pho shop in Saigon once upon a time. I have never turned my nose up at the venue or wait staff as I find that the best places for good authentic foods are usually in hole in the wall places...I just appreciate good food. The facade was cute, wait staff was extremely friendly and prompt but the food was a total shock of blandness. We ordered the chicken ... read more
