The food is very good. This is a beautiful restaurant and hotel located very close to Chelmsford and a great location for venues as they have a private function room available ale to hire (which is what we did for a birthday). The room is also directly in front of the bar so not very far to walk in order to re-hydrate. Food came out as expected with no issues and everything was very well cooked. All in all a great experience that helped to make some great memories for a birthday celebration.
Came here for a traditional Sunday roast dinner , had the roast beef with all the trimmings. Cooked to perfection and was so well looked after by Aaron at the bar and James serving the meal
