I base every soul food establishment off of their Mac & cheese. If you can't do that right, I don't want nothing else. With that said, I read reviews and heard word of mouth how the food is good. Went in today to get a side of Mac. It's the whitest (in color) mac I ever had. Not yellow enough=not cheesy and it wasn't. I got better mac from back home up north. Also, lukewarm. Plus side to my quick visit, the price was decent and the cashier was genuinely friendly.
Good home cooked meal in a relaxed environment. The fried chicken is crispy and tender - my favorite. Pot roast was a delight - hadn't had that in quite a while �
The food was good but could be better. Corn bread tasted boxed but the desert, macaroni and cheese and yams are amazing! I would visit again to try other foods!
