Last night our order didn't transfer from the register to the back. We waited over an hour before our order hadn't really been taken. We weren't even upset. They offered to totally refund my card the full amount and still give us our food. The next day my card was refunded.
I came to the city from out of town and asked about a good place to eat. I was told to try Lawans Soul Food. WORSE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!! The food was horrible! The mac and cheese was bone dry as if it had been setting out for days. The yams was like soup..running all over the place. I would not recommend this place as a good place for soul food. NEVER!
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Friendly staff the food was delicious as well as the desserts. I will be back!
We go here at least once a week! The food is amazing, it takes a little long to be made but it's fresh which makes it ok to wait!
Does not do well with large parties the food came out one by one every 10 mins
