Stayed on the campsite for 2 nights and the hosts John and Susie were lovely. The "manager", on the other hand clearly has no idea about how to manage a property nor anything about customer service. I found her to be very rude and I am a very tolerant person. The place is low cost and good value in that sense but it's a place very much stuck in the past. Pros Very quiet site in a nice location Owner was very nice upon arrival Large pitches Farm shop Cons No Reception/signage upon arrival, had to phone Grass was too long No sink to wash pots and pans Bins not segregated, just in field Toilets and shower in need of a clean Summary Medium sized site with tired and lacking facilities, we love camping and being outdoors so would never comment on the smell that others have been frustrated by as this can't be helped. This is our second stay here and certainly won’t be the last. The holiday cottage is immaculate and as everything you need for stay. Thank you to the hosts.
