Booked a blood test as a person with a phobia, which apparently they are equipped to deal with - however, I didn’t see much evidence of this. The phlebotomists seemed nice, but the fact was they had no time for someone with a phobia. They told me they had a lady who stood in the corner for 15 mins before being able to get in the chair, but they didn’t have 15 mins for me, or even really 5. My blood test went well. I was seen almost immediately upon arrival and the nurse was friendly (Indian guy) and efficient.
My husband went for a blood test after 5 years. (Bear in mind he has anxiety due to bad experiences in the past). We went to bay 2 for the blood test and he had a lady that looked like she was in her young “30’s”, had makeup on and was extremely moody. She took blood from my husband at an angle and was extremely rough. Even I noticed this too. Once the blood test was done, he was in extreme pain and agony. When you get to the window 2 mins late and the lady is on the phone chatting for another 6 minutes, then you get told the doctor wont see you because they have a rule, that if you're 5 mins late you lose your appointment. Yet I had to wait for the receptionist to finish her call before she even acknowledged me. I think this is extremely unfair. How can I be at fault? This has happened before. Yet on some occasions I have gone in 10 minutes early and had to wait over an hour. Yet that's acceptable. Hence my 2 stars.
I visited as my daughter required dental training. Everyone has been so nice from the receptionist to the dentist and dental technicians. They put my daughter at ease when she was very nervous before hand exhibiting excellent care. Fantastic.
