Dr. Lori Koenig has been my dog and cats doctor for over 10 years. She is very caring and loving to all animals.
My first of many experiences with Lakewood Animal Hospital was 5 years ago, when my grand-daughter asked for my help with her sick puppy, a Bassett Hound named Molly. Dr. Koenig diagnosed Parvo Virus, frequently fatal, but she promised to do all she could. Molly survived and thrived, and today is a healthy and happy little dog, the delight of our family. All of her health care has come from this animal hospital, and I cannot say enough nice things about it!
Several friends and I swear by Lakewood Animal Hospital. Every vet and the other staff there are committed to doing the very best for their patients. They are punctual, organized, very good at explaining treatment options clearly, and go they extra mile to care for pets and their owners. The vets are knowledgeable, experienced, and know how to listen - they will not give you the bum's rush, even on a busy day. I have been coming here since I got my first cat over four years ago. They helped refer me to a veterinary cardiologist to get the proper diagnosis and treatment for my second cat. Be it a routine exam or sudden injury or illness, Lakewood Animal Hospital always gets you in right away! The staff is always friendly in person and over the phone. Couldn't ask for a better veterinary hospital for my two cats!
Monday you helped me send my beloved Elroy to the Rainbow Bridge. I wish I'd had the presence of mind to get the names of everyone involved so I could thank you all individually. You showed us kindness and mercy and I'm grateful for each and every one of you.
