Absolutely amazing. Food was beautiful. Staff where great. Reasonable prices. Room was perfect. Definitely be going back
Recently stayed at this hotel as a family. Sadly I do not feel the hotel was suited to families as the hotel is extremely remote and there is little to nothing to do around the hotel for kids. Access to anything has to be via your own car or taxi. Taxis are at least £25-40 one way to get out of this area to anything happening. I feel to improve what is a lovely venue would be to put in more activities and facilities for guests such as a pool, spa and activities for kids to do. Gorgeous setting for a short break. Peaceful & relaxing. Will definitely be going back.
Had a one night stay here during a working business trip this week. What attracted me the most to make a room booking here was the quiet location and views. The site has a mix of rooms and lodges, surrounded by lakes. Although the rooms had no view over the lakes itself it was lovely just to walk around the lakes and sit to contemplate the nature around.
