Wonderful people and great display of sheepdog

Last minute decision to drop in here and so glad we did. Food simple but cooked really well. If I lived closer it would become my local. Great service as well.
Called in yesterday to take a look around. Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed insite, but we had a look in the shop/butcher etc. We didn't eat onsite but bought a 1/2 shoulder Hardwick lamb, which they rear on site, the butcher very kindly cut to size for me. Took it back to the cottage and roasted slowly for 3 1/2 hours... result.... totally delicious. Definitely taste the difference and given the quality, was a very fair price. I may call in to take another one home😊
