This facebook got it all wrong. I never worked at Lafayette General-I don't know where they got from. I drove Hot Shot for 2-4 yes we n loved it. N got married which was a huge mistake. 15 yrs of living like shit!!. Am divorced n am very happy. Been going on 20 yrs now n it still kinda feels like the 1st day!!!
I had a really simple visit, with really simple coding, and a straightforward insurance plan. I'm still arguing about my bill 2 years later with debt collection letters interspersed with phone calls, emails, and face to face meetings. Billing has no functional management or communication with their doctors or insurance partners. The time Ive wasted on this astounds me.
The PA I saw was one of the most heinous people I’ve ever met in my life.
So many wonderful people , family included are employed there. Their service to the community is irreplaceable. It would be a huge loss to the community and so many honest loving people would be without care if umc ever shut its doors!

I have been a patient at Lafayette General Hospital UHC formerly known as UMC for over 20 years they have been my Saving Grace I am self-employed single and don't have much extra cash for insurance so they have been there for me through a lot of health issues please don't close it down it is an awesome hospital it has grown in so many ways the doctors are always looking and talking to each other to find the problem the staff is unbelievably nice the facility has gotten so much better over the years it is nice to sit and wait... read more
My daughter had our granddaughter there and she had wonderful care. The cafeteria food and employees were great!! That’s important for visitors with family in the hospital.
RecommendedThey r the best hospital in Lafayette. I recommend it to anybody.
