My daughter in law had a baby there 1week ago and the ER Dr and nurses were not nice or professional. We wanted to leave. That's the only hospital her OB went to that why she stayed.
At this hospital about a year ago, I experienced the worst anxiety attack of my life and went to LGH. The nurses would not help me, and consistently made me feel like a drug addict. They also did the exact same thing to our friends son. Disrespectful, rude, non helpful staff. After going to Lourdes and was treated like a person, they fixed the problem instantly and also treated patients with respect. Husband had outpatient procedure and had fantastic experience. Every person we came in contact with was super friendly and had excellent bedside manner. I would definitely recommend this hospital to family and friends.
This hospital emergency department will have you waiting for hours without care. Don’t come here if you are in a real emergency. They had me waiting 6 hrs when I was in severe pain from a gangrenous gallbladder. I got so frustrated that I left and ended up having to come back in a few days and only then did they take it seriously and do surgery. Called to make a clinic appointment but was put on hold without ever coming back to the phone. Patient relations was a joke. I would stay away and not go there.
ER waiting time to be admitted needs improvement. Floor nurses were very professional & other staff exceptionally nice. Will always use & recommend LGMC
