I USED to like Lafayette General... back in the 80's & 90's. But NO MORE !! Now going to the ER there is like walking into to an inner city ghetto hospital!!! I went in Jan. 2017 for a Bad Crohn's flare. Upon check in I informed them I had already called my GI doctor & told his answering service I was headed to the ER. They took my insurance & buzzed me through to the intake area ... where I informed the intake nurse of why I was there ... Crohn's, nausea & vomiting & dehydrated. Yes I went into the hospital last Sunday and I was in extreme pain although the wait was a little long they did everything they could to get me out of pain I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone than on top of that I received a phone call just a few minutes ago from a human lol not a recorder checking on my well being keep up the good work guys!!
Had my first child on 9/4/18 and every nurse I came into contact with was sweet, nice and comforting. From the time I was there, going through labor, and staying in my room until I got discharged. I’d love to thank each one personally for their kindness! I have zero complaints!

I have ENJOYED my few visits to the hospital. Always clean and people seem to be very attentive to their responsibilities while simultaneously and courteously interacting with me. (surprising, really). HOWEVER, Am a cash pay client and a few weeks after PAYING my bills, I received an obnoxious demand for payment for services from a radiology firm-explaining how I should pay...or...? since I neither asked for nor received a service from them AND had satisfied the bill given me on the same day, I declined to pay the 37$. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! I have had the worst experience with not only their Orthopedics but also their billing!!! They lied to me about the full coverage my insurance would pay n now I receive a hefty bill. I specifically asked what it would cost me for the MRI that was ordered so I would know if I could afford! Orthopedic Dr’s left me to suffer over 5 months, not believing the pain I was in and of course thinking I was a drug addict!!!
