I cannot give more praise to Marininah for all of the help and support she gave me and my daughter in the first weeks of nursing after birth. We were struggling to get my daugther to latch and stay latched and after one session at my home, we were able to successfully find the best positioning and be successful. I was on the verge of giving up breastfeeding after only 9 days when Catherine came to my rescue. My daughter was losing weight and I felt defeated that I was not able to provide her with what she needed. Catherine eased my mind and gave me helpful tips and tools to make breastfeeding easier for both my daughter and me. After only a few days my daughter started gaining weight and she's back on track. I could not be happier that I called Lactation Central for help!
I couldn't imagine how things would be if Chaya never came to help my son and I with breastfeeding. With one visit things went from chaotic, painful, and stressful to easy and pain-free! I've been successfully nursing my son for over 5 months now without problems. I can't recommend Chaya enough to new mothers!
I was in a panic when my milk came in, but Lactation Consultants quickly came to my rescue. Not even an hour after leaving a desperate voice message, I heard back from Marninah and knew I was in good hands. She helped me work through the various challenges that breastfeeding can present. Many would've given up, but I always had hope that we would figure it out... and we did!! I couldn't have done it without the incredible help offered through Lactation Consultants. I strongly recommend them!!
Marninah is absolutely wonderful! Couldn't have done it without her. She's professional, honest, encouraging, and really knows her stuff. What I really liked was that while Marninah was really professional, she always made it feel like it was one mom talking to another. I had an excellent experience with Lactation Central. Marninah was very supportive and easy to get in touch with. I was a little nervous and had heard horror stories about LCs but she was supportive and very nice. The office is very comfortable with a couch and other nursing support. I have already recommended her to some friends who are currently pregnant if they have and lactation needs.
