I was suddenly having pain after about a month of breastfeeding. Marnina came to help me on a weekend after a frantic call. She was so caring, calm and professional! Quickly she identified that my son has an improper latch, and showed me ways to improve. She was a godsend. She encouraged me, and calmed my fears about going back to work and breastfeeding. She gave me great tips to cope! I would definitely recommend using her!
I reached out to Lactaction Central after struggling with low supply my first week. I was on the verge of quitting breast feeding. Chaya made a house visit to analyze my BF techniques , baby weigh in before/after as well as to give very useful information on how to increase my supply (supplements , power pumping, proper latching, etc). I had my first appointment with Chaya today and was so pleased as to how knowledgeable and insightful she was! She spent a long time getting to thoroughly know my son and I; the appointment was nearly 1.5 hours! It was so helpful and I did not feel rushed (which is so different from the experience at the doctor's office). As an experienced mom who has nursed another child before, I appreciated all the in depth insight and discussion of current research and controversial topics. I would highly recommend her!

I very appreciate Catherine and Lactation Central for the big help on my first journey of breast feeding. Both my son and I were frustrated on breast feeding when he was one week old. I contacted Lactation Central after I discharged from the hospital. Catherine responded immediately and offered me the first visit the next day even her schedule was already very full. Catherine has been extremely helpful with my newborn. 2 weeks after he was born she guided me through proper latch and different positions to try while nursing. Since then she continues to respond to my questions when I reach out to her. I would strongly recommend contacting her.
I was so nervous to breastfeed and having Catherine by my side through this all has been the best. I was lucky enough to meet her right before giving birth to my daughter. She educated me before having my baby. Which was great because I was prepared. A few days after having my daughter she came by again to help me with latch issues.
