I highly recommend Lactation Central if you are having any trouble or questions with breastfeeding. I had a virtual appt with Chaya and was able to also do a follow up in appt in the office. Chaya was wonderful, super knowledgeable and patient and addressed all my concerns and issues with clear information on how to move forward for success. I felt extremely confident after leaving the appt that I found a supportive and reliable practice!
I'm so thankful to have found Catherine! Being a first time mom, having to breastfeed my daughter was challenging. I did not get a proper lactation lesson at the hospital, my baby didn't latch properly which result in a painful breastfeeding. Chaya has been absolutely fantastic in supporting me through my breastfeeding journey. She’s helped me overcome issues, troubleshoot problems, and I now have a 4 month old who is feeding so well, growing, and thriving. I am so grateful to have found her!!
My baby had a couple of challenges breastfeeding early on. I was so lucky to be referred to Chaya, she has been absolutely amazing. Not only was her direction spot on, but she made things so easy during a time of uncertainty (my baby was born in the middle of Covid-19 craziness) and she has always been available not onlt for consultations, but also promptly responding to any random questions I sent her way. I would likely have given up on breastfeeding my little one if it wasn't for her.
I can’t speak highly enough about this practice! Out of the natural birth of my daughter and early motherhood and lack of sleep, the hardest thing for me was breastfeeding. I tried other virtual lactation specialists, with no success. I was started on nipple shields in the hospital to my dismay - but I’m grateful it was able to get my daughter to latch.
