A trip to La Margarita is like a trip south of the border. They offer a full menu of authentic Mexican food, with highlights like cevicheand grilled carne asada. The real draw though is their huge list of tequilas. You can even take a tequila flight, where they give you a few different varieties with tasting notes for one low price. But if tequila's not your thing, they do also have a great selection of craft beers from around the country.

La Margarita has been one of my favorite spots in Indy for a long time, but I have really enjoyed the spacious patio during these Covid times. Their new weekend brunch menu is AwEsOmE (biscuits and chorizo gravy!) and a very welcome addition to the Indy brunch scene! They often partner with local vendors to create new dishes and cocktails and the beer selection is excellent!
I was born and raised in Indianapolis and LaMa has been an institution since I was a kid. The grub, atmosphere, and service is unmatched and you won’t find a better selection of beer, tequila, or mezcal in Naptown. Do yourself a favor and start off with the queso fundido. This place rules.
The only place that my wife and I feel comfortable in Fountain Square to dine at during the pandemic. I know a lot of people are upset they aren’t open inside but we love the attention to detail and the effort they have put forth to having outside dining no matter what the weather is! If you want to eat inside, go down the street for crappy service and sub-par food.
Love their food and drinks! They’ve done a great job throughout the pandemic by putting their customers’ safety first. I love how they’ve winterized the patio with heat lamps and a fire pit so you can dine in safely and socially distanced. Highly recommend!
I eat at LaMargarita at least once a week if not twice because the food is amazing and everyone who works there is friendly and caring. The margaritas are the best, the beer list is always pretty killer, and the outdoor dining area is big and comfortable.
One of my favorite places in the square. Staff feels like family. Food is interesting and inventive, and maybe some of the best food produce quality I’ve had at a Mexican joint
Very disappointing experience, food was cold, portions very small and service was non existent! I paid $36.00 for 4 tacos a tiny side of rice and guacamole and 2 beers!!! And had to clean up after myself!!! Horrible... will definitely never come back!
Good top shelf Margarita. Nice outdoor dining.
Great food, good drinks and nice staff.
