Used to come very often, notice many new stores now ieTiong Bahru rosted pork/duck , 袁记水饺 etc, see photos for other new stores.New look, new dishes at 莆田stall.Their signautre mee hoon is the all-time favourite. Tried new dish (see photos)- a great disappointment! Rice is soggy and bland (have to eat with chilly for flavour), is white fish meant to be tasteless? Anyway, much rice left over. Lots of food choices. So far, haven't had any bad-tasting food there yet. Main issue with this place is the crowd, difficulty to secure seats and close proximity between tables.
The teh / tea was terrible, tasteless
The newly refurbished Kopitiam Food Hall at the top floor of Jem is such a nice place to be. After dinner hours, it stays clean and well air-conditioned, with courteous patrons all around. Food were also abundant and sufficient for late diners. The quality of food were also restaurant level at kopitiam price. Highly recommended as they also have ongoing promotions for some of the stalls.
