What makes any food experience are the people serving it. I got chicken rice from the chicken rice stall and the owners were so friendly and nice and it was very heartwarming! It was really yummy too! For the kopitiam as a whole, I went during lunch hour and I think it has smtg to do w the waste management, there was this horrendous stench spanning across the whole area so can work on that!
