Ordered Lao Huo Tang - ABC soup tasted like salty water. 佛跳墙 had this odd plastic taste probably from the fish maw which was rubbery. Having tried multiple outlets of the franchise, the taste has never deviated so much from the original.
I was at NUH visiting a relative and got a little hungry, so I decided to have a light snack. I ordered the Wasabi Shredded Chicken Roll. I was expecting the traditional type, but I got a surprise — it wasn’t. It was more like chilled sushi. The popiah was coated with a thin layer of wasabi and filled with shredded cucumber and chicken. A nice healthy alternative when you want something light. I will grab this again if I happen to find it at other Kopitiam outlets for a quick guilt-free snack.

Nasi Padang Sedap Padi Emas dishes mostly sweet. Ridiculous unhealthy
To be honest, I like this kopitiam food. Best stall I would say is the nasi Padang, Lao huo tang for vinegar pig trotter, sea bay for the fried rice, fitra chicken rice, bread junction for their box cake and the western food for their aglio olio, salted egg chicken cutlet. Teh peng is also good and they have ham and cheese croissant, thou not the best but would be a good breakfast. Prices here slightly higher but definitely worth it. Out of so many outlets in Singapore, this is the best.
