Beautiful location , amazing food and really helpful staff
Stayed here after bagging one of the nearby Munros. It’s a lovely hotel with nice rooms, but what was exceptional was the Clive and the food. We had the tasting menu which had a couple of courses which were Michelin star worthy. The Sea trout in a chive and caviar sauce was as nice a fish dish as I have had, but the duck served on black pudding with a bramble sauce was to die for. The flavours came together in a way that was amazing. I would highly recommend the tasting menu.
Four night stay this time. As always a very warm friendly welcome. Stayed in room 8 which was clean comfortable and well equiped. The food served in the restuarant was sublime, good choices and well presented. All staff very attentive, friendly and helpful, simply the best.
Boyfriend treated me to this absolute gem on a whim and we couldn't believe how much we lucked out. Connor and the rest of the team were so accommodating and patient with us during a busy time of year. For anyone going, the food will blow your socks off. It's a perfectly run place and the team secured what can only be described as a treasured memory for us.
