Stayed at this property many times over the years and have always had a great time in a lovely location. However, the most recent trip changed all my thoughts about the place when the owners decided to change ridiculous amounts for linen and towels which they claim were stained to am extent they were not able to be cleaned. They even charged for their dish towels and bath mat to be replaced. Never heard of the like of this in all my time visiting places. A money making scam to which they should be ashamed of. Stayed at Kirkstone Lodge for a week in June as a family of four and one dog. The Lodge itself is well presented, modern and clean with everything you might need for your stay. Had a small issue with a wasps nest which was dealt with promptly by the lovely caretaker. The location is fantastic for Loch Insh Watersports centre, all Aviemore outdoor activities and of course the forest right on your doorstep. I highly recommend hiking into Glen Feshie if looking for a break from the Munros too!

What an amazing place to stay 7 of us here 4 adults 2 kid's and a baby had an awesome holiday
