Not worth your time or money – I used to be a regular at Bombay Palace, however after the change in management I have visited twice and been thoroughly disgusted with pretty much everything this restaurant has to offer. The food is not anywhere as good as it used to be, the service is not impressive at all, and the prices are ridiculously high. Truly, not worth your time or your money...
Youve Got To Be Kidding Me – How ridiculous...the food, the service, and especially the prices were outrageous at the once-amazing BombayPalace. We will never go back and visit again. I don't think that I should have to pay enormous amounts of money for bad food and rude service. Find somewhere else to eat.
An Absolutely Terrible Dining Experience – Bombay Palace's service, food, and mostly their prices have all taken a drastic downward plummet. I was very upset with every aspect of my lunch last week. The food was very plain and simple - not always a bad thing, but trust me in this instance it was. The servers do not know a lot about the dishes on the menu, and are of little help when asked questions. And the biggest disappointement of the evening came with the bill - the price of the buffet has increased dramatically. Unless ... read more
Fantastic! – The people at Bombay (Kiran - owner/chef, Robert Hile - chef, Derik - GM, and our two waiters (Veejay & Ronnie) outdid themselves. I recently coordinated a dinner party for 28 people and let me tell you, not one person left without being thourghly impressed withe the food and the wine selection. Veejay certainly knew his wine and paired up his selections with the choices in food and Kiran was absolutly wonderful!! They gave us a choice of pre-fix menu or we could order from directly from the menu. They will defi... read more
What a dissapointment... – My recent visit to Bombay Palace was terrible to say the least. I don't live in Houston, but whenever I come on business I always visit this restaurant. This time however, I was thoroughly disappointed with the food, service, and cost. The food is bland - don't expect the creamy saag paneer or rich currys that were on the menu before. The service has gone downhill. The waiters don't have a clue about Indian food. And, it gets worse - you get this food and service at an even higher price than before... read more
Great Indian Food – I went to Bombay Palace (Soon to be Kiran's) for lunch. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was truly impressed. Being of Indian descent, I am usually not impressed with Indian foods at upscale Indian restaurants; however, this was not the case at Bombay Palace. The food was flavorful and the quality of the meat was excellent. The buffet included a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The price was a little high for an Indian lunch buffet, but if you consider the quality of the food as... read more
Lost in Transition – The food has changed since the purchase of the restaurant. Some items for the better but some worse. The food seems lighter and perhaps more health conscious but lacks some flavors. The service is quite surly as usual. The price of the lunch buffet has gone up to ~$14 which is fairly high for restaurant in this class. Hopefully they can improve.
