my favorite place for great unique food – I've been on two separate occasions and enjoyed both immensly. The food is incredible! The flavor overwhelms you! I always eat every last bite. Anything with LAMB I highly recommend. The best. We have never ordered anything we didn't enjoy. Service and atmosphere is classy yet relaxed. Great place to go on a first date. The interesting food will be a great conversation starter. You can experiment together. It is expensive, but no more than any other nice restuarant and the price matc... read more

Best Indian food in Houston – This is by far the best indian food in Houston and in the US. Great taste and perfectly spiced. I have taken a lot of my friends to this place and everyone has gone back. Everytime I take someone there they become regular customers (or should I say fans). Being from India I know what good indian food is and this definitely is the place to visit for great indian food. The service is terrific as well. I have been there atleast more than a dozen times and so far I havent had a bad experience.

Brits know a good curry – My husband and I have lived and traveled all over the world. And with my husband born and raised in the UK we are big fans of Indian food. One of the first things we did when we moved to Houston last year was check out the Indian restaurants in both Houston and Sugar Land. Kiran?s is now our favorite place to go for Indian in south Texas.

Why we love Kiran's indian food – My husband and I consider Kiran's to be part of our "holy trinity" of restaurants that we go to at least once every other week. We go for the ambience, service, consistency and flavor. We know exactly what to expect. We always order the chicken tikka masala, okra and aloo gabi (with just cauliflower) and King Fisher beers. We are very picky about chicken quality and texture and usually do not order chicken covered in sauce. However, Kiran's chicken is always succulent and fully edible. We pe... read more

Favorite restaurant in greater Houston – For my wife and for me, Kiran's is absolutely the best restaurant in the Houston area. The food is sumptuous and not easily found elsewhere, the service is impeccable without being intruisive, the wine list is extensive and fairly priced, and Kiran's is a gracious and accomodating host. The restaurant has now earned the ultimate accolade: other restaurants are measuring themselves against it, and trying to disadvantage Kiran's. Go there only if you want a different and memorable exper... read more

Kirans overpiced food bad service go elsewhere for Indian cuisine – The atmosphere at Kirans's was nice but the busboys were too invasive while the waiter was completely inattentive the majority of the night. We had to wait a long time for any of our request to be accomodated. The menu is extremely overpriced considering the quality of the food. Some of the dishes were good while others left something to be desired especially taking the overinflated price into consideration. We paid $300 for 4 adults and 3 children. That was... read more

when bad food and greed collide – It is unconscionable to charge so much money for food that is of a lesser quality than you will find on most buffets. I found the wait staff to be somewhat inattentive after the food arrived and meddlesome before it was dropped off. They don't have any beer on tap. Neither do I, but I'm not a restaurant. There is much better and cheaper Indian food in town. I really took it in the shorts on this one.
