fabulous experience – My family and I went to Kiran's last night to celebrate my birthday. Kiran came to the table very soon after we sat down and greeted us and made us feel extremely welcome. From the minute we sat down the staff was helpful and attendant. We tried many dishes, all of which were very tasty. The saag paneer (sp?) was the best I have had in town. The rack of lamp, shrimp and chicken dishes were all superb. All of the sauces and chutneys were full of flavor and extremely fresh. This is a great restaurant to t... read more

What is she thinking!! – Taken by suprise that they do not have the buffet any more. My office colleagues were shocked to see the prices. Those prices are justifiable if you are going out for a romantic dinner. But for lunch, it is outrageoulsy expensive. They kept telling us .. "oh we do not have the buffet but you will love the choices and the food".. I do not think so. Their Executive Business Lunch" is for $15.95 (with drink, taxes and tips.. easy $20) and you get to choose 1 item only. Being a vegeterian, I got cabbage.... read more

A GREAT Dining Experience – What a GREAT find! A truly fabulous restaurant with outstanding food, wine, and much more than your typical Indian Restaurant! Try the Sea Bass or Rack of Lamb ......... and, Kiran's WILL become a favorite "dining out" experience for you. The Indian food is excellent (mild or spicy - just tell the server). I've already been back and I do believe it is the best Indian food in Houston. Excellent service, fine food, and a talented and friendly owner/chef who makes a point to personally visit and gree... read more

Wonderful Indian Buffet – Treat yourself to gourmet Indian food at Kiran's/Bombay Palace. I have eaten the buffet twice and will definitely return again and again. Kiran has done a marvelous job providing outstanding Indian food with welcoming service in a lovely setting. I have zero complaints! I highly recommend this restaurant. Only good surprises await when you dine here.

Best in Houston – This is a wonderful restaurant. Visited today with 3 friends. We were greeted by the owner who also visited our table. The food was first rate, and this was the buffet. We had mango chicken as well as salmon; not the usual buffet fare. The prices are a little higher than other Indian restaurants, but the quality of the food is also higher. My friends and I have visited most of the Indian restaurants in Houston, and can honestly say that none is better than Bombay Palace.

Love that saag paneer – This has to be one of the best Indian places in town. The Saag Paneer and Lamb dishes are wonderful. They have an extensive wine list and great desserts. If you are unhappy with anything, speak up while you are there. Kiran, the Chef/Owner, will make sure you visit is special. Service is prompt and friendly.

Best food in Houston! – Kiran's is not only the best Indian food...but the best food in Houston in general! The service is outstanding and the food is superb. The staff is very knowledgable about the menu...and are always able to recommend a splendid wine. Kiran's also has one of the most unique wine lists in Houston. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only problem you may have is eating too much!!!

Eat at Kiran's BP – I was a regular customer at Bombay Palace and now at Kiran's. The Food is a "10" and the service is a "20". I just want to say "thank you" to the staff for your excellent & friendly service and to Kiran for her wonderful food and dazzling curries. Houston is a better place...

A Change for the Better – What a change - the old, staid Bombay Palace gets a new twist, as Kiran's! Stellar classics as well as innovative new dishes. The amazing dishes are well worth the price! This is not you 'grandma's Bombay Palace'. So ditch her old Oldsmobile, hop in your Hummer and try a fabulous Indian restaurant the will become a new mainstay of the Houston restaurant scene!
