From the moment me and my family arrived the lady on the desk took over 10 mins to greet us and check us in and was extremely unhelpful! The moment we saw our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the size however that was it, the floor was dirty, had about 4 flys in the room and the bedding was full of hair! We instantly went down to complain and the lady again was extremely unhelpful and rude... she came up to check before she even sent a cleaner! Had a ‘meal’ yesterday, Sat 6th Sept 25. We were very disappointed overall. I had the ham hock starter (£10) with a wedge salad (£4). The ham hock came as a square tiny piece, no flavour, sourdough was that tough I couldn’t cut it! Sent it back. Husband had a ‘special’ off the board, a hot dog (£15). Would have got better at the local burger van. Came with over cooked fries. Very underwhelming and overpriced. Have to say for the cost of the items, the food could have had a lot more care and attention when cooking.

Excellent evening meals. 6 different meals and all v v good.. Tasty and resonably priced, with great service and fab atmosphere. Went to Nelson at Burnham Thorpe two days later and Kings Head was by far the winner !

This hotel and pub is lovely. We recently spent a weekend there and loved every minute of it . The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pub had a wonderful atmosphere inside and out with amazing food and very friendly service. The staff are truly wonderful. There garden area had plenty of seating for outdoor time and is suitable for families and dogs. We were fortunate enough to be there on a weekend where there was a live band, DJ and barbecue. It was loads of fun for all ages. Definitely recommend going there!!!
