This was one of the very few places to go in Castle Douglas. The lady behind the bar, Ann, if I remember correctly, was lovely. Very chatty and friendly. Made us very welcome in the bar. Plenty of beers/wined/shorts to select from. Prices were OK too.
My wife and I went and had a Sunday meal here on the Easter weekend and the food was magnificent and very tasty. Well cooked and presented. The staff were polite and helpful and very accommodating we certainly will go back again.
