The location is ok but when it comes to the cleanliness of the rooms, I do not recommend it, the standard of cleanliness is not good
We all had a great stay at Kiltarlity. The lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub is a great little bonus. The location is brilliant and not too far from Inverness and Beauly but you will definitely need a car as its not really possible to just go for a walk from the lodges. The road is fairly busy and i wouldnt recommended people walk up and down it. It is however, a beautiful part of the country and I recommend trying some of the local activities (loch Ness boat tour, dolphin spotting etc).
Just had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay. We stayed in a 2 person lodge with our dogs. The Lodge was immaculate and deceptively spacious. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The shower oh my fantastic. The hot tub so relaxing and great for achy joints. The site is ideally located and very well maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. We have just completed an 11 night stay at the Breckland House. We will be back again next time we are up in Inverness What can I say but wow, it is a 5 berth chalet/bungalow with an amazing amount of space. The accommodation was incredibly furnished all high end and felt very luxurious. The hot tub was amazing, perfect for the evening after a day exploring, and there was a secure garden for a dog.
