We had an absolutely fantastic stay here recently. The staff made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. We had our dog with us and the grounds are fantastic. Highly recommend.
The room was like a hostel but with a decent shower! Tired, outdated and not reflective of the nearly £200 per night price tag! Staff were fine but major investment needed in the ‘hotel’ or it’s simply reasonably full due to the total lack of choice! 🤷♂️
I can only comment on the food at the hotel as I was not a guest. Lovely looking hotel lovely and peaceful for a relaxing dinner. The vegan options are really good, I had the vegan chilli which was lovely and plentiful. The staff are very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Would really recommend this place if looking for relaxed evenings dining.
