Don’t care for the service
My husband was recently admitted. The next day, they were supposed to get his seizure medicine and run more tests, which would have required him to stay another night. After realizing he doesn't currently have insurance, they changed one of his meds, didn't do the needed tests, and had him out the door immediately after lunch. This isn't the only negative experience we've had with this hospital. If you're having an emergency and can make it to a different hospital, I highly advise you to do so.
Brought my daughter into the ER . Thought she might have appendicitis. We sat for over 3hours with out being seen .Thankfully her pain eased some to make me feel ok enough to take her home With Plans to go to UK if it gets worse. Their was also a very elderly lady who came in from a fall and bleeding that also sat for three hours before being taken bake. the poor thing kept dosing off and they never even sent any to check on her the whole wait. I received a bill yesterday for $998.84. There was no explanation for what this was for. I went to the hospital this morning & was told that this was for blood work on my liver. This $998 & change that I’m supposed to pay is AFTER my insurance company has pd out over $2k!!! In what universe is blood work supposed to cost 3,200? Can someone please explain this to me? my daughter in law had cramps and spotting and we was there in the ER for exactly 4 hrs and 5 minutes. RIDICULOUS FOR AN EMERGENCY
Very long wait time. Even longer in after being taken back into er. After 4 hours haven’t even seen a doctor. No one doing anything but sitting and doing nothing. Would rather drive out of way to go to a better ran hospital with staff that has a willingness to do something. Waste of time and money to come here.
