The ER part of this hospital in Mt. Sterling is a useless waste of time, people are better off going to Winchester, there you get called straight back and you actually get treated for what's wrong!
I just had a baby there in March. They straight up just about let me die. I had pre eclampsia which I kept telling them and kept getting told I was fine and my blood pressure was fine etc. I felt really weird and I knew something wasn't right. I got discharged about 27 hours after I had my son because he was moved to the NICU at UK. They told me I didn't need to be a patient and was fine. My Husband was seen for a Stress text and Echocardiogram, they were very nice and had him out within 2 1/2 hrs.
I had my gallbladder taken out 3/29/17. Everybody was nice! The wait in the ER is long but over all the hospital is nice and the employees are caring.
Sat in the emergency room for over 2 hours and was in extreme pain. My kidneys were starting to shut down and I had a very high fever. But people that just had a cough got to go straight to a room
