We stayed in The Old School House for a short break. The location is excellent- just off the main shopping street. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.|The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The welcome food package is a nice touch and very useful especially if arriving late in the day. The only thing that could be improved is for a bigger TV!! Would certainly visit again.

We stayed in the Castle View apartment for 3 nights (5 adults, 2 children) as we were attending a wedding in Kendal. The apartment consists of a large living/dining area, well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment was spotlessly clean with every piece of equipment/utensil/home comfort you would find in your own home. My partner and I stayed at the New Yard Inn apartments, which we found as "kendal Hideaways". The name-confusion is not the only thing that is off at this place. At arrival, there was no reception, but a key-code system, which was attached to the outside of the apartment, and through which we were supposed to get our keys. After using the code that was send to us by email, and opening the system, the key was not there. My partner rang the owner, who arrived 50 minutes later with the key.
