Beautiful georgian manor house with gardens. The best i have seen for a long time. Staff and volunteers are delightful and so helpful. Cafe isc3xcellent too. A pergect day out!
Shambala festival which is hosted here is the best thing in the world
First time visiting here having seen it a month or two ago on a drive by to get to my next section of Leicestershire Round long distance footpath. We are National Trust members, so usually stick to those. This place was a better than expected surprise. Especially liked the gardens and the below stairs section of the house. I recently visited the elegant Palladian-style country house and surrounding gardens with friends for the august bank holiday weekend and had a special time. The acres of surrounding land are both vast and beautiful, overlooked by the stunning grade-I listed Kelmarsh hall atop the well-kept gardens.
