I called Kelly Ford for an appointment regarding a recall on my 2013 Ford Explorer.. I was able to schedule the appointment without any problem... Service Advisor, Melvin DeLeon was very helpful and courteous... recall was completed but I had an additional problem with my car which were the front wheel bearings.. Ford’d cost was over $800 which I found to be too high.. being retired I must watch my money.. too bad they were not reasonable.. I was able to have them replaced for lee than $600.. Thanks for taking care of me..
Keep an eye on your warranty. They are trying to shave off 1 year and a month. I bought my car used with 14000 miles on it. In June of 2014. They say the 6 year 100000 mile warranty I bought started in May of 2013 and 0 miles. I guess they do t want to keep repeat customers. I even brought them paperwork saying I bought this warranty on this date and they are saying well that’s not the contract. Well guess what I have the paperwork that say I have it from this date. Melvin and Adam took care of me when my car needed serious repairs and I had no idea what to expect. Melvin took the time to explain the damage, the necessary fixes and then assure me costs would be minimum, if any. I am very impressed with the care of a (very) nervous customer. I would recommend!
I do recommend Kelly ford for sales but not so much service as I have gotten my car in a condition that it should have never left Kelly Ford with the hood not being lined up properly and a huge dent in the fender by the hood. It went up for an oil leak and came back with all that. I am very unhappy. Brendan from service has been great and he will be getting a call from me tomorrow.
