Love Kelley bee supplies although the wood ware quality is not what it was when Mr. Walter T. Kelley was alive. Still the best I have found to date. Looking for better quality at other bee supply houses.
very bad experience with package bees. ordered 2 packages - shipped USPS 3 day... these sat in the Chicago distribution center for 3 days, and when they finally arrived in NC, one queen had died and most of the bees (USPS fault). Customer service ordered replacements, and they were received within three days, however with 2 dead queens. Now I have two hives with workers that I am feeding, and can’t get a date when I might have queens only that they have been ordered. My Russian honeybees came yesterday, I have gotten them into the hive and they seem to be doing very well so far!! Thanks Kelley Beekeeping!!
New beekeeper and had a great experience. Very busy at the store on bee pickup day, but the staff were helpful and nice. Got the bees home after a 5 hour ride and all went well. I couldn’t see the marked queen, but the frames were full of activity. Hope to see her, or at least some new brood evidence at the first inspection.
Everyone was so helpful. It was crazy busy and the staff stayed positive and kept us informed every step of the way.
