Lovely jeweller but found the shop assistant very pushy. She tried to tell my fiancé which ring he wanted and massively misjudged his ring size. She told me that I wanted a yellow gold ring, with no pattern, which is absolutely untrue. Would have like to work with the jeweller but now don't want to return to his shop because of his assistant. We are very disappointed because we loved his rings.

My husband & myself are in Peebles quite often and noticed that this shop bought gold. I've had a very expensive Longiness watch for 20+ yrs and have links, that i dont need. 18ct gold. They have been in my jewellery box all that time, in the bag i got them in, when i had them removed at Hamilton & inch, Edinburgh. I returned to the shop with my husband on the following Thursday with the links. The lady with white hair was hesitant to take them.
