We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

Had the 6 rib dinner with Cajun tater salad and BBQ baked beans. First time here. Will be a regular customer. Ribs are meaty and fall off the the bone awesome ! Highly recommended for the BBQ lover. Next have to try the burnt ends !
Well worth the walk fron the truck stop. Adding this to my list of regular stops
I had to turn down several offers for the sides. I was there to sample the ribs. I liked the house sause the best. All three were flavorful. I love ribs and these were just fight. Instead of the sides give me more ribs.
A good place to eat! The truckers special is a good meal for 2!
We stopped while in the Kansas City area. We loved it!!! The brisket and pulled pork were both, flavorful, tender and moist. We were happy with amount of food served and the price. Staff was all friendly and evem let my husbang see their smoker, since he smokes hogs at home. DEFINITELY WORTH STOPPING!!!

I got a BBQ beef sandwich, it was dry and not warm at all. I also got some Mac n cheese and it too was Luke warm. Haven't been back since.
They are what they say! The best bbq in kc period! Had pulled pork sandwich and it was moist and tasty! Mmmmmm. And the house sauce,the best sauce I've ever had! Can't wait to try the truckers special I got to go for supper tonight. This will definitely be a stop on my list. Thanks again guys and gals. We'll see you next time we're down from Canada.
So good! I loved the house sauce, the ribs are amazing, and the cheesy corn is so good. Glad I made my hubby stop . Might have to come back on the way home. The staff was so friendly also
