We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

I wasn't impressed food was cold and took along time to serve bake beans nasty cole slaw taste like it was made a week ago! and very expensive!
My other half has been wanting to try some authentic KC BBQ for years (not a chain, but small hole-in-the-wall place)We had to pull off when she saw the sign. We were not dissappoonted. Good deal for the amount of food and the cheesey corn was AWESOME.

I really appreciated paying 12.95 for a box of bones .....(meatless ribs) I asked for BBQ sauce & I didn't even get that ...thanks
It was the most horrible, barbecue ever. The beans are Bushes baked beans, straight from the can. The potato salad is prepackaged. We have had the ribs & brisket, not impressed w/ either. Just paid $60 for a meal...feel ripped off! By the way if you've ate here before & loved the beans, potato salad, or Cole slaw...it is not the same. They have went cheap & prepackaged.
Ribs were a joke tuff raw in the middle, almost 20 buck for a lunch that I had to throw away, cajun patato, salad only thing worth eating not sure how this dude makes a living at this, guess selling to people that don't no real bbq

My Antique shop went on a shopping spree from Grand Jct. CO. out to Indiana and back, the best stop ever, my sister saw there BBQ sign off HWY, and we went and found them, what a wonderful family, Best food on our entire trip, so welcome from the moment we walked in, Love how they get on the CB and welcome tired, and hungery truckers, to come and get it!, the smoked meat comes off the smoker, and everyone heads their way, Best I've ever had! Thank you PAULA&JIM and crew!!!

A cuban sandwich in mo. You should go there for that alone. The staff is awesome, the food is really good, the portions are better than most bbq places I have been, and the ribs actually have meet on them. This place is a great find and really should be busier but they are kind of new, so get there before they blow up and you have to wait in line. I would still recomme d waiting in line though the food is worth every minute.
