Great hotel. There was a minor hiccup at check-in, but the staff remedied it nicely. The room and bathroom are very nice with large windows over looking the Grand River. Will be staying again!
Nick Asst GM and David the newest Dining Manager along with Ryan and Eric in Valet delver a world class guest experience. Their ability to make all guest comfortable and feeling like there are the only guest in the hotel with each interaction is a standard that should be modeled and used in training sessions. Brian Belher runs a world class JW Marriott. The ultimate review resides with my grandchildren that cannot sleep days before they know they are going to the JW. Well done Mr Belher and team.
The room was nice, that's about all. We stayed here on our wedding nt and despite telling them this before hand and showing up in my dress , we received awful customer service and actually had to call housekeeping up to clean our room. We will never be staying there again.
We had a great time at the 616 our bartender Corey suggested great drinks and insured we had a great night out
Extraordinary stay; great staff, room, spa, etc. Our first stay and we will definitely return.
Of course the hotel itself is amazing but the staff (Tia, Dani, Jessica, Ashley, awesome bartenders and valet staff) make this hotel stand out. Attention to detail, friendliness, a warm smile and greeting you by your last name is 5 star in my book. Thank you JW Marriott Grand Rapids for making my Christmas stay great.

We absolutely love staying at the JW, the staff is awesome and they really make the guests feel so welcomed. The hotel is beautiful and we love the access to Van Andel and the DeVos Center!
