DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I may change my review depending on how they actually handle this review, but it's been a month and a half and I still have not received my belongings. No one from the company picks up the phone - I originally spoke with James and since paying haven't heard a word. He won't pick up. After leaving multiple messages, emails and texts, the president of company finally picked up and tells me it's "on it's way," but it's been over 21 business days since day I would be here to receive items. STAY AWAY! All our belongings were ruined (cracked, scratched, broken) or missing upon delivery. I had the worst moving experience ever with J&R Moving Services. I have moved cross country multiple times for school and work, and I have never experienced such horrible customer service. On move in day (7/6/20), in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, a driver and three other workers show up without masks, gloves, or hand sanitizer (despite an email from management stating that all workers would have these precautions). First move out New York to Florida. I put my questioner on Home Advisor. I took 5 calls out 15 movers. The same inventory from company to company varied from 1700-5,000. I ended going with the company that offered me $4700 because of the knowledge,comfort level and personality of Alexis. Do yourself a favor and cut to the chase call Alexis. Thank you Alexis for getting started on the right foot with my career.
