Dr. O'Shaughnessy is proactive with my treatment. I've been with her since I was 1st diagnosed 20 years ago. She reminds me of scans and MRIs that must be taken regularly. I am incredibly happy with my care, and I know she's quite knowledgeable about cancer care and treatment!

I recently saw Dr. O’Shaughnessy for a second visit. She is always very thorough in explaining treatment options, medications, and healthy choices. She listens well and answers all of my many questions. Her enthusiasm and optimism is contagious! I most highly recommend her and feel very fortunate to be in her practice. Additionally, she is a leading researcher in breast cancer.

Dr O takes her time to review all aspects of my care at each visit. We tried a couple of trials did were not successful, but she was very quick to recognize when I reported new issues to get scans and MRIs scheduled and radiation treatments started to counteract some sudden extreme changes to quality of life. Things are improving after a month. I appreciate her caring attitude.

She is very warm and caring. She makes me feel very comfortable, like she is honestly very interested in my health. I know he is very busy, therefore I dont always get to see her at my appointments, but I understand, that she is very busy and has lots of patients. Im very pleased with her and the care that she has given me. I have I have a sister and an aunt that all have the same MBC as I do and she takes cafe of all of us. Excellent doctor!!!!!

Dr O has kept me alive longer than anyone thought possible, and I have recommended her to others. That said, it’s tough to get an appointment, the phone tree is exasperating, the waiting rooms and clinic rooms are awful, you’ll often encounter long wait times. Sometimes you’ll get sunshine blown up your skirt, and your personal preferences may be pushed aside, but if survival is your highest priority, Dr O is the one to go to.

Dr O’Shaughnessy is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. She presents the facts, helps you understand what the best treatment options are and why they are the best options. She then lets you decide how to proceed based on what you have learned. I am so pleased to have her as my oncologist. Her goal throughout treatment has been to make me well with the least possible side effects. She is great!
