I have received excellent medical care for the past seven years. I would highly recommend Dr O'Shaugnessy to anyone who is fortunate enough to be her patient.
I am truly amazed how Dr. O'Shaughnessy took time even though she is so busy to talk to me about my breast cancer the first time I was so scared but by the time I left there I was at peace and knew I am going to make it and five years later thanks to God and Doctor O I am doing well. there is no better doctor than her for me she is so knowledgeable and keeps up with new treatments all the time. SHE IS SO KIND AND UNDERSTANDING
Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a very intelligent and caring Doctor. She knows all about breast cancer and seems to keep up with all the latest. She is the reason I drive 5 hrs round trip to see her and had all my chemo done at Sammons Cancer Center.
She was very good at talking us through the rare form of breast I have and looked for trials to address metastasis as soon as it popped up in my lung.
Dr. O has been my doctor since January 2011. She is a phenomenal oncologist. Very patient and professional. When I wanted to change a treatment due to the side effects, she listened to me and provided me with other effective treatments with less side effects . I hope she never retires.

Dr. Joyce O’Shaughnessy is an exemplary breast oncologist. I drive four hours each way to see her. She is brilliant, caring, and devoted to providing the best care to every patient. I have been seeing her since 2007 and I’m convinced that is why I am doing so well with my stage IV breast cancer diagnosis. She’s is absolutely the best!
Yes, I would recommend Dr. O'Shaughnessy to my family and friends because she is an incredible oncologist. She's compassionate and would always listen to any concerns that I may have. In fact, she physically wrote down my step by step treatment since I've been forgetting things lately.
