Yes, I would recommend Dr. O'Shaughnessy to family and friends. I live in Wichita Falls and drive a 5 hr round trip just to see her. She is intelligent and knows breast cancer. I consulted with her when I had my first breast cancer 14 yrs. ago. It returned a year ago and I have done the chemo and visits with her. The only negative thing that I experienced is that I don't always get to see her on some visits. Dr. O’Shaughnessy and her team are highly professional and experienced as well as compassionate and caring. Dr. O’s philosophy includes overall wellness - healthy eating, regular exercise and good mental health. The communication from her and her team has been exemplary. One of the biggest challenges for a cancer patient is the waiting...for test results, surgery, chemo, etc. Dr. O and her team understand this and are very responsive. I always feel as though my calls and questions are very important to them.

When I first went for my first visit, I was scared and unsure what to expect. Everyone at the office was very friendly and I just love Dr O'Shaughnessy. She explained everything to me where I could understand. I left the office feeling good and that I could fully trust Dr. O'Shaughnessy. I would recommend this doctor to anyone that has cancer.

I would recommend Dr. O'Shaughnessy to any and all that need an oncologist. She is a clinician and researcher and has her finger on the pulse of what is coming down the road in cancer care. She sees me as a person first, not just a patient and takes the time needed to address all of my concerns during our visits. She is not only brilliant, she is kind

Dr. O'Shaughnessy has always been on top of everything. She is a good listener as well as a very professional bedside manner when talking with you. I feel very confident in Dr. O'Shaughnessy as she talks and explains everything making sure you understand and are following before she continues her exams or recommendations.

Every visit has been excellent. I receive great care from Dr. O’Shaughnessy, her Nurse Practitioner Marissa, and all her staff. They are very professional and also very gracious, encouraging, patient, and willing to answer all my questions. I believe I am getting the best treatment and care possible. I am completely happy and thankful for the care I receive.

Dr. Joyce O'shaughnessy is my current oncologist. She was also my oncologist 14 years ago, during my first encounter with Breast Cancer. I am confident she is an expert, and she cares about me as a patient. This time around, she set me up as her last appointment of the day, so that she could spend as much time as I needed to get my questions and concerns addressed.
