Dr. O has been my doctor since January 2011. She is a phenomenal oncologist. Very patient and professional. When I wanted to change a treatment due to the side effects, she listened to me and provided me with other effective treatments with less side effects . I hope she never retires.

I’ve been with Dr. O’Shaughnessy for many years. She is such a strong breast cancer advocate. She is feisty, a little ball of energy, and ready to tackle your case. I am at ease with Dr. O’Shaughnessy on my side in this fight.

Dr. Joyce O’Shaughnessy is an exemplary breast oncologist. I drive four hours each way to see her. She is brilliant, caring, and devoted to providing the best care to every patient. I have been seeing her since 2007 and I’m convinced that is why I am doing so well with my stage IV breast cancer diagnosis. She’s is absolutely the best!

Yes, I would recommend Dr. O'Shaughnessy to my family and friends because she is an incredible oncologist. She's compassionate and would always listen to any concerns that I may have. In fact, she physically wrote down my step by step treatment since I've been forgetting things lately. I appreciate and I am grateful for Dr. O' Shaughnessy expertise and the entire staff for all the care and compassion they have been provided me.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. O'Shaughnessy to family and friends. I live in Wichita Falls and drive a 5 hr round trip just to see her. She is intelligent and knows breast cancer. I consulted with her when I had my first breast cancer 14 yrs. ago. It returned a year ago and I have done the chemo and visits with her. The only negative thing that I experienced is that I don't always get to see her on some visits. Dr. O’Shaughnessy and her team are highly professional and experienced as well as compassionate and caring. Dr. O’s philosophy includes overall wellness - healthy eating, regular exercise and good mental health. The communication from her and her team has been exemplary. One of the biggest challenges for a cancer patient is the waiting...for test results, surgery, chemo, etc. Dr. O and her team understand this and are very responsive. I always feel as though my calls and questions are very important to them.

When I first went for my first visit, I was scared and unsure what to expect. Everyone at the office was very friendly and I just love Dr O'Shaughnessy. She explained everything to me where I could understand. I left the office feeling good and that I could fully trust Dr. O'Shaughnessy. I would recommend this doctor to anyone that has cancer.
