Cateract sugery was excellent
My surgery went well I will recommend him
Dr Kappil just performed cataract on my left eye. Could not be happier with his professionalism and obvious expertise. I no longer require glasses, although I’ve been told that this isn’t always the case. Office personnel is always helpful and courteous.
Dr. Kappil should be your go to ophthalmology MD IMHO; he has done both of my eyes & I am pain-free after both procedures.
I am very happy with the results of my cataract surgery. Dr Kappil and the staff at Good Shepherd Hospital made me comfortable and confident that I would be receiving the very best services.

I had a excellent outcome with Doctor Kappil with cataract surgery. He knows his craft, and explains the procedure to the extent that you leave confident he will produce the results he explains before surgery. I would recomend him to all my family and friends.
Very little bedside manner....very disappointed in the results and follow up from surgery. Difficult to get questions answered in detail...very rushed
If I could give a 0 Star I would. He performed cataract surgery on both my dads eyes. On the first eye he said the bag hadn’t opened properly but said it’s nothing to worry about and it’ll resolve on it’s own. Thankfully eveyrbjng was fine, however on that first eye my dad had an itching and bothering sensation. When this was brought up to Dr. Kappil he was agitated and didn’t really care to explain anything or offer an insight as to why. Worst MANNERS I’ve seen from a doctor.
