Yes, I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Kappil. Dr. Kappil did a thorough examination, explaining each step. Yesterday he did cataract surgery on my right eye. The procedure was painless. Afterwards I had some itchiness, like dry eyes. At home, I took a nap. When I woke up I was astonished, I could see clearly like I never had before!! I just had Dr. Kappil perform cataract surgery at Good Shepherd hospital on my left eye. I returned to Dr. Kappil because of the great quality and care I received during my first (right eye) cataract surgery a few years ago. Good Shepherd hospital was first class for both surgeries also. I highly recommend Dr. Kappil if you need cataract surgery.
Dr. Kappil explained all my options. I chose Good Shepherd Hospital because they have a Laser Incision machine there. The surgery went extremely well. The next day at the follow up the vision in my right eye is 20 / 20. Dr. Kappil has a very kind and gentle bedside manner. I would highly recommend him.
