My surgery was a little challenging due to prior eye damage. The risks were clearly explained and my question answered. I needn't have worried. The surgery went well and my vision is better than I had ever dared hope. Dr Kappil and his staff are very helpful and friendly yet professional.
Procedure was clearing explained, easily understood. Have had 2 cataract surgeries, second last month. Surgery went well, instant improvement.
My second cataract surgery with him and it went as great as the first! I would Highly recommend him to anyone. As a retired business teacher and professor and business entrepreneur he covers all the bases. You should wait until he is done with all his duties and then he will patiently answer any and all questions. I admire him even more after I found out he lost a son--the worst nightmare ever! If I had a third eye, I would totally go to him again!!
Just had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Kappil. From my first visit to his McHenry office I had the utmost confidence in Dr.Kappil’s knowledge and experience. My surgery was yesterday and the improvement in my vision is unbelievable. I am reading without glasses and my distance vision is sharp and clear. Have been going to this office for several years for exams and 2 cataract surgeries. He is highly recommended by specialists in the area. My results were excellent. He always takes time to explain the procedures and alternatives. Dr. Kappil and his staff are the best.
It's a miracle! For the first time in my life I can see clearly when I wake up in the morning! Dr. Kappil removed a cataract in my right eye and inserted a corrective lens. Now I have perfect vision in that eye. No pain or discomfort during or after surgery. I read other reviews about having to wait in the office. Dr Kappil performed cataract five years ago on my left eye with no problems. On Dec.26, 2019 he performed cataract surgery on my right eye with no problems.
